The healthy habits, occupational risk, and work-related illness programmes provide a healthy work environment and improve the health of workers who make up the great Sacyr team. This is a fundamental part of the Company’s strategy.
In addition to promoting physical exercise and encouraging employee participation in sporting events, Sacyr sponsors talent in elite teams and sports professionals. This reinforces corporate values and the company's collective identity, which are important factors that we care about.

Sacyr Sport Club
With the dual aim that sport becomes a habit for all Sacyr Group employees in order to improve their health and to promote corporate culture and pride of belonging, in 2015 the Club Deportivo Sacyr (CDS) was created, which organises various monthly activities such as running, padel, tennis, hiking, power walking and MTB.
Collaboration agreement with the Higher Sports Council of Spain
Through this agreement Sacyr sets an annual budget of five internships for five athletes in triathlon, track and fencing.
Occupational Risk Prevention
Sacyr has an occupational risk prevention policy, driven by the chairman’s office, which is the cornerstone of the Group’s Workplace Health and Safety Management System.
This system is certified based on the OHSAS 18001 International Standard, the global benchmark for workplace health and safety. This certification, along with Sacyr’s Road Safety Management System, also certified under the ISO 39001 international standard, positions the company as involved in achieving a healthy work environment for employees.
